We understand for those couples marrying soon the Covid-19 situation is a very turbulent and upsetting time. Here at Quaint Country Weddings we want to reassure couples we are very much intending to carry on hosting your wedding (unless Government advice indicates otherwise).
By nature our venue is a safe environment ie lots of out door space, no air conditioning, plenty of room within the marquee and freedom to move.
The venue is only available for you, your guests and hired in suppliers, this eliminates possible cross contamination from unknown people. You are in full control of who attends the venue and your wedding.
Please check your wedding insurance to check if you are covered for all eventualities. For those couples who haven’t yet taken out insurance you will find a link to wedding insurance companies at the top of our suppliers page.
Nearer to your wedding, and depending on the pandemic situation, we would suggest couples look at their guest list and take a view on whether elderly or those with respiratory conditions consider not attending the wedding and that you check your guests & hired in suppliers are adhering to the self quarantine regulations.
We shall be introducing a few precautionary steps to help protect you and your guests at your wedding. This includes the availability of
- Hand sanitisers, or anti-bac soap,
- Paper towels
- Extra tissues
Just to reassure you, both Keith and myself are not planning any trips abroad and shall be remaining vigilant to ensure we and everyone around us remain safe from the virus. Should we become infected we would isolate ourselves as per government guidelines and enlist additional help to sanitise the venue ready for your arrival.
If you are at all concerned feel free to contact us at any time, telephone or online Zoom video conference meetings are an option for those who prefer to stay away or are self isolating for any reason.
I hope you’ve found this advice useful as we all learn together how to navigate this challenge. You can find the very latest government guidance and advice here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public
If you have any suggestions please feel free to message me.
Stay safe everyone!
Janet and Keith
